Class A vs Class B Motorhomes

Class A motorhomes tend to be the largest type of RV available in every respect, from general size and floor plan options to towing capacity and storage space. The ample living space and residential-style amenities make it the perfect choice for a big family or large group of friends looking to live their best life on the road.
Class B motorhomes are the smallest class on the market. These van-like vehicles swap out the massive storage space and residential amenities of a Class A coach for greater fuel efficiency and maneuverability. Class B vans are perfect for everyday driving and parking as well as off-road exploration—an ideal choice for smaller groups looking to bring a bit more adventure to their travels.

Class A vs Class C Motorhomes

If the Class A RV's massive storage and towing capabilities and premium residential amenities are a bit too much for your travel needs, a Class C coach might be the perfect class for you.
With a Class C, you get a motorhome that's more manageable in size than a Class A, but much roomier than a Class B. The luxury amenities are still there, but at a scaled back level compared to the larger Class A's. The real differentiator with a Class C is the driving: They operate more like a van or pick-up truck, even with all that extra room. That means better mileage, greater maneuverability, and more affordable service and repair.

Class B vs Class C Motorhomes

When deciding between a Class B and Class C motorhome, you should always consider the number of travelers, what kind of trip you're taking, and exactly how much luxury you want on your trip. A Class B motorhome is perfect for a very small group of travelers who are less concerned with endless on-board luxuries and more interested in affordable, efficient, go-anywhere travel. The Class B van's compact build provides superior maneuverability, letting you easily go from wandering off-grid to driving into town and exploring the nightlife.
Leveling up into a larger Class C means you can bring a few more people along for the trip. Much like the Class B, it comes with a familiar driving experience. Unlike the Class B, however, a Class C coach offers more storage space, more premium amenities, and more room to stretch out on board.
